AMANDA HEYES
Osteopath
Amanda is an Osteopath with over 25 years’ experience in clinical practice having graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1992 and in 1996 completed post-graduate training in osteopathic paediatrics.
With particular interest in the management of persistent pain, post-surgical recovery and assisting infants & children achieve optimal musculoskeletal function, Amanda believes that the health and wellbeing of every individual is influenced by their family, work and social environments. Improving understanding of the ways in which the structure of the body influences movement and function, both inside and out, is fundamental to all consultations.
Subsequent to completing formal studies, Amanda has studied and taught throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and North America. With the knowledge gained she is currently involved in working to encourage other Osteopathic practitioners to further explore the anatomy and physiology of their clients and provide greater opportunities for healthy change.
Qualifications & Associations
Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy), Graduate Diploma (Osteopathic Paediatrics), Member of Osteopathy Australia, Member of the teaching faculty of the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation of Australia and New Zealand.
Amanda is currently available for appointments at EarthPoint Energy Centre on Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon and Friday.
