ERIN BURCHILL

Osteopath

Attracted by the allure of sunny weather and an outdoor lifestyle, Erin relocated to Perth after completing her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science in Osteopathy at Victoria University in Melbourne.

Growing up, Erin participated in a wide range of sports including netball, acrobatics, gymnastics, cricket, and athletics, which led to a variety of injuries. This piqued her interest in the anatomy and function of the human body at a young age, ultimately inspiring her career choice in Osteopathy.

Erin approaches each patient and their symptoms as unique, employing a holistic and customised approach that incorporates a diverse array of hands-on Osteopathic techniques such as joint mobilising, stretching, and gentle manipulation. She also uses dry needling and myofascial cupping, alongside a strong emphasis on patient education and advice for injury management and prevention in the long term. Her passion lies in empowering patients to take charge of their pain and regain confidence in themselves, so they can get back to doing what they love.

In practice, Erin treats and manages an array of conditions ranging from sports injuries and accidents to headaches, neck and low back pain, and chest and shoulder pain. These can be problems that have only just begun, to long-term chronic aches and pains, and everything in between.

In her leisure time, Erin indulges in Pilates, hiking, and exploring new places. She has an affinity for the beach and all things outdoors.

Availability: Erin consults patients on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday every week.
