ALICE KELLY

Osteopath

Growing up in rural Victoria, Alice went on to earn her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science in Osteopathy at Victoria University in Melbourne, developing a strong passion for osteopathy and helping people. When she decided to move to Perth – drawn by WA’s golden coastline, endless blue skies, and active outdoor lifestyle – we jumped at the opportunity to welcome her as the newest addition to On The Mend Health, and she’s now excited to call Perth home.

Alice’s interest in osteopathy began as a child, when she experienced first-hand the benefits of a holistic approach to treatment. The way her symptoms were addressed as part of her whole-body health left a lasting impression and inspired her to pursue osteopathy as a career.

In the treatment room, Alice takes a movement and functional-based approach, using hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation, muscle stretching, massage, gentle manipulation, muscle energy technique (MET), and myofascial release — all tailored to each individual’s needs.

She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from school-aged children to the eldest members of the community, and has a special interest in treating chronic pain conditions, particularly involving the neck, jaw (TMJ), spine, hips, and pelvis. Having spent several years working closely with local netball, football, and soccer clubs, Alice has developed strong skills and insight in acute injury management, prevention, and rehabilitation for athletes and sporting injuries.

Her approach is whole-body focused, taking a step back to consider all contributing factors before working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their goals — whether that’s returning to sport, improving mobility, or simply feeling their best.

Outside the clinic, Alice loves running along the coast, soaking up Perth’s sunshine, cooking (often something sweet), and catching up with friends.

Availability: Alice sees patients at On The Mend Health on Thursdays and Saturdays.
