Cybele Todd

Osteopath

Cybele graduated from RMIT in 2001 (with Hons 1C) and has practiced in Sydney, Hong Kong and Perth. She has strong experience treating people of all ages and walks of life, including babies, children and expectant mothers (and fathers)!

She enjoys treating all manner of musculoskeletal ills, including headaches, neck, back and joint pain (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip knee, ankle). She loves the challenge of chronic, unexplained, stubborn or niggly pains or problems.

Cybele is passionate about accurately diagnosing and getting to the root cause of issues as well as empowering patients to improve their understanding of their own marvellous, though sometimes troublesome, bodies.

Cybele’s treatment may include gentle/ subtle and direct/firm techniques. She prioritises patient preference while working towards an effective and lasting outcome.

Cybele has a particular interest in stress, how it is reflected in the body, and exploring potential avenues to positively influence the body’s stress response through physical means. She is also fascinated by interplay between the musculoskeletal system and gut or visceral dysfunction.

Cybele enjoys being active, spending time with her family and studying. She recently completed a Masters of Biomedical Science (with Distinction) and is hoping to follow that with a PhD when time permits.
