Dr. Amy Farleyr
Acupuncturist
Amy is a mother of three, an Acupuncturist and Lecturer at Endeavour. Two decades ago she fell in love with acupuncture while studying music at WAAPA. She had chronic wrist issues from years of playing guitar, and eventually sought help from an Acupuncturist to alleviate her pain. Amy was surprised at how positively it affected her hormones and stress levels, so shifted her career ambitions from music to health.
Amy’s career focus has been on helping women navigate their way through fertility and pregnancy, then beyond into perimenopause.
She feels like the level of stress we are currently under is pretty out of control. Burnout, low immunity, poor digestion, hormone imbalance, sleep disturbance, mental health issues and fertility issues are stemming from this undue stress. It’s Amy’s personal mission to help guide people back to a space of self care, time for rest, nourishment and finding joy from the simple things in life… and of course- to utilise the benefits of TCM and acupuncture in doing so.
